LEAP School-based gardens
The overall goal of Lottery for Education: Afterschool Programs (LEAPs) is to provide Tennessee students with academic enrichment opportunities that reinforce and complement the regular academic program.
We have 2 groups at the Tracy City Elementary LEAPS Program!
The Garden Club (6th-8th graders)- they learn how a greenhouse works and how they are like a greenhouse; therefore, they must care and nurture themselves for them to grow and be healthy.
The Little Sprouts (1st-3rd graders)- they learn self-esteem skills, decision making skills, and how to take care of their mental health.

Alcohol-free community-based activities
Three Seasons Market is a farmers market in Tracy City, TN, offering fresh home grown seasonal produce, plants, crafts, small livestock, food trucks, music, kid activities, and much more. Grundy Safe Communities Coalition offers free shaved ice for participating in substance misuse prevention trivia games.
Future activities
Grundy Safe Communities Coalition is gearing up to offer more substance-free activities in the future. We hope to offer activities such as family game nights, movie screenings, and much more! Be on the look-out as we begin planning these activities!
