Grundy Safe Communities Coalition

Welcome!
Welcome to Grundy Safe Communities Coalition! Established in 2010, our coalition was formed by a group of concerned community members. As drug-related problems continued to rise, these community members knew that these issues needed to be addressed. Years later, Grundy Safe Communities Coalition continues in the founding members’ initial efforts. We continue to partner with other leaders within our community to support youth and families in establishing a safe and drug-free community.
Grundy Safe Communities Coalition currently consists of Belinda Morgan and Garrett Heatherly. Both have extensive backgrounds in working with children and families. Belinda and Garrett hope to continue strengthening our community and look forward to working with everyone. Grundy Safe Communities Coalition is governed by a steering committee and membership who meet monthly with Grundy County Health Council and bi-monthly at the Grundy Safe Communities Coalition Office at Littell-Partin Center (Old Grundy County High School) in Tracy City. Please consider becoming a member!
Grundy Safe Communities Coalition is always happy to work with those in the community. Please, reach out to us and we will determine the best way to work together in keeping our community great!
Our Vision
Grundy Safe Communities Coalition will establish and strengthen collaboration among community members, private non-profit agencies, and Federal, State, and local governments to support prevention efforts and reduce substance abuse among youth and adults in our community.
Our Mission
The mission of the Grundy County Safe Communities Coalition is to partner with our community in establishing a safe and drug-free environment for our youth, families, and friends.
